From top to bottom the images are myself in reality merging with myself seen in the digital and how you can cross between reality and the virtual.

Using various techniques to incorporate a digital presence with these images of me merged into images of myself that are used as profile pictures for social networking sites like facebook, myspace, twitter etc

Using a spot light, and soft box + tripod to achieve a bright but crisp atmosphere that isn’t to harsh, but warm and inviting. Different angles to show the movement and motion from reality,
testing and seeing what works and what doesn’t
Using opacity and overlaying images to look like there is a greater movement than there actually is.

Merging my profile pictures together to see what effects i could get especially from the different background images that have no real focal point,
Also what colours pop out from others .

Having 3 images of my arm, which were profile pictures, overlay, using opacity and colour balance to try and match some form of repetition in a sequence.

From taking photos of myself at different angles to see what shapes can be made from the already existing outline with an overlay .
Moving, rotating, horizontal, vertical etc using opacity to find senarios that would fit for my final four images.
I’ve been mixing my profile pictures together to try and arrange some form of sequence i’m thinking i will do a progression over 4 images.

This one if four images overlayed and using the opacity tool to blend them into one face.

This image is four images of my face again overlapped in a way to resemble one face i tried to line up the eyes as well as i could to try and get some features into the image, i like the weirdness about it.

The same image with the line on the edge is gone

Using two of my childhood photos that i had used as profile pictures trying to make them become one. btu showing the two different images before the change.

By just using the face from one image it looks like the face is being used as a mask to hide behind. changing colour balance, contrast and hue to try and get a similar skin colour.
These are all of my profile pictures that i have used on various social networking websites.

My Idea for project one is to take all my profile pictures from my own social networking sights and overlap them to an existant that merges my identity to become one merged figure that i am known as on the internet.
